WHAT'S NEW IN THE WRITING AND ACTING WORLD!!
Beast Magic joins two other shapeshifter stories (Female/Male) in a print anthology, Shifting Desires, to be published by PHAZEJuly 28th. The authors joining me with my story are Skylar Sinclair with Purr for Me and Jude Mason with Cat's Claw.
Two of my dark, scary poems, "My Nightmare Thing" and "Dream Darkly" will be included in The Twisted Twins Daily Chills Calendar--coming late 2008 at Amazon and brick and mortor bookstores. Haunted Richmond, Virginia has been nominated for Library of Virginia Literary Awards. You can find my book in the nonfiction nominations, along with others, including L. B. Taylor's newest Ghost of Virginia book. View all the nominees at Literary Awards 2008 The awards will be closely tied to the James River Writers' sixth conference, to be held October 10-11, 2008, at the Library. James River Writers, in partnership with the Library of Virginia, present the Awards/ at the Celebration. The winners of this award are chosen from nominated works in non-fiction and fiction by readers voting at libraries, bookstores, and online. The 2007 winners were, in fiction, Adriana Trigiani for Home to Big Stone Gap, and, in non-fiction, William M. Kelso for Jamestown: The Buried Truth.
My two horror poems, "My Nightmare Thing" and "Dream Darkly", will be in The Twisted Twins-Daily Chills Calendar, coming out December 2008, published by BLU PHI’ER PUBLISHING, L.L.C ( http://www.bluphier.com/home.html). The book will be available online at Amazon, Borders, Chapters, etc. It will be distributed to bookstores throughout North America and U.K.

My horror flash fiction story, "Prey" is include in the anthology, Mining the Muse, the Collective Works of Chesterfield Writers Club Anthology 2007.
